Barlett 50th anniversary
Ken and Rosemary Barlett of Petrolia will celebrate 50 years of marriage with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Martinsburg Church of Bruin, 128 Main St., Bruin.
The former Rosemary Young married Barlett April 5, 1957, at Lebanon Presbyterian Church in Greenfield.
They have three children, Cathy Ritter of O'Fallon, Md.; Jeffrey Barlett of Petrolia; and Randy Barlett of Butler.
They also have five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Barlett retired after 12 years in the maintenance department at Trinity Industries. He also worked in maintenance at Pullman Standard for 27 years and for Jeffrey B. Barlett Masonry. He is a member of the Chicora American Legion, the National Rifle Association and the Parker City-Allegheny Valley Lodge F&AM.Mrs. Barlett is a homemaker. She belongs to the Order of the Eastern Star, Butler Chapter 45, and serves as a Parker Township Auditor.The couple belongs to North Washington Presbyterian Church, where Mrs. Barlett serves as a deacon.The couple requests no gifts.
