Marilyn E. Kane Productions has announced the winners of the
2007 Cameo Model USA Pageant held recently at the Kean Theater in Gibsonia.
Morgan Laubach, 17, daughter of Russell and Rebecca Laubach of Mars, won the overall high point title and the title of Fashion Plate USA. Laubach's titles include Miss Charisma USA, Miss Cameo Model USA, Miss Fashionality USA and Miss Picture-Perfect Model USA.
Haley Hoffman, 7, daughter of K.C. and Lisa Hoffman of Butler, was the overall talent winner, regardless of age division. Hoffman was also named Petite Talent Star USA, Petite Fashionality USA and Petite Picture-Perfect Model USA.The titles of 2007 Cameo Cover Model and Overall Photogenic went to
Austin Gagliardi, 10, son of Rob and Angel Gagliardi of Butler. Gagliardi was also named Junior Charisma USA, Junior Cameo Model USA and Junior Picture-Perfect Model USA.
Other title winners included:<B>Devon Tracy</B>, 6, Petite Cameo Model USAand Petite Charisma USA;<B>Hope Schnell</B>, 9, Junior Fashionality USA and Junior Talent Star USA;<B>Hope Vitous</B>, 13, Teen Charisma USA;<B>Elisa Nesbitt</B>, 15, Teen Talent Star USA;<B>Brittany Scott</B>, 16, Teen Cameo Model USA, Teen Fashionality USA and Teen Picture-Perfect Model USA;<B>Amanda Dillaman</B>, 18, Miss Talent Star USA;Blue Ribbons were also awarded to <B>Lexi Keffalas</B> and <B>Sara Grinnik </B>for Best Close-Up and Gagliardi and Dillaman for Best Fashion Shot.———
About 70 children participated in the state Freemason Child Identification Program on Wednesday at <B>Bruin Elementary School.</B>At no cost to the families, the Freemasons created packets including fingerprints, DNA profile and disk featuring a digital video of each child, in which they are asked a series of questions.The CHIP interview captures the appearance, speech, mannerisms and other important personal characteristics of a child that can be quickly distributed through an Amber Alert to assist in the quick recovery of an abducted child.<B>Freemason Lodge 521 </B>members, the<B> Bruin United Methodist Church </B>and the <B>Bruin Volunteer Fire Department </B>donated funds to create each packet.The program has been in effect in the county for about five years, but this is the first time it has been done in the Karns City School District.———Artist <B>Bill Secunda</B> of Butler received an Award of Excellence for his entry in the ninth annual Judeo-Christian International Juried Online Art Exhibition hosted by www.upstreampeoplegallery.com.This international exhibition received more than 500 entries from around the world and 97 artists were selected by juror Larry Bradshaw, professor of art at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.The exhibition will be on display at www.upstreampeoplegallery.com through March 31.
