Edna M. Rummel, 98, of Cabot died Sunday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot.

Born Jan. 19, 1909, in Winfield Township, she was the daughter of Andrew J. and Kathryn Zier Lang.

She was a farmer's wife and enjoyed flowers, gardening, sewing and caring for her family. She also was involved in 4-H.

Mrs. Rummell was a member of the St. Luke Lutheran Church of Cabot, where she participated in the Ladies Aid and Bible study groups. She also participated in the Lutheran Women's Missionary League and was an organist for Concordia hymn sings. She was a devout Christian who loved her Lord and Savior.

Surviving are a son, Alvin W. Rummel of Cabot; three daughters, Mrs. Roland (Kathryn) Montag of Cabot, Mrs. Fred (Delores) Wetzel of Grove City and Mrs. Charles (Janet) Dobson of Soddy Daisy, Tenn.; 18 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Her husband of 58 years, Victor Rummel, died July 31, 1985. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Herbert Lang; a sister, Minnie Bachman; a great-grandson, and one nephew, Robert Bachman.

<B>RUMMEL </B>— Friends of Edna M. Rummel, who died Sunday, March 18, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Luke Lutheran Church.
