Theodore 'Ted' Snyder
Theodore B. "Ted" Snyder, 69, of Butler died Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born March 3, 1938, in Slippery Rock, he was the son of the late Harry and Mildred Redmond Snyder.
He attended Slippery Rock High School and was a member of the drama club and the high school band.
He worked as a truck driver for Bauman-Martin Trucking for more than 25 years and also worked part time in security for the Butler Auto Auction.
During the 1960s, he was a stock car driver in the Butler area.
Mr. Snyder was a social member of the Saxonburg VFW post.
His companion of more than 20 years, Stella Perry, preceded him in death on Dec. 29, 1998. Three brothers and two sisters also preceded him.
Surviving are two sons, Randy Snyder and Samuel Snyder and his wife, Lisa, of Butler; two daughters, Audrey Burns, and Mrs. William (Shelly) Campbell of Butler; and extended family Diane Sarver, Connie Widenhofer, Pam Shepard, Lisa Perry, Tracy Nebel, Rhonda Mottern and Denel Cavaliero. Several grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive him.
<B>Snyder</B> — Friends of Theodore B. "Ted" Snyder, who died Saturday, March 17, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St.Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev.
