Richard and Leona Wagner

Richard and Leona Wagner of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage Sunday with a family dinner at the Butler YWCA.

Wagner married the former Leona Stevenson on April 22, 1957, in Petrolia.

They have eight children, Robyn Collins, Jack Wagner, David Wagner, Vernon Wagner, Billy Wagner and Corey Wagner, all of Butler; Richard Wagner Jr. of Las Vegas; and Camey Doctor of Prospect. The couple also has four step-children.

They have 14 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Wagner is retired from his job as a custodian at Butler Country Club. He is a Pittsburgh Pirates fan.

Mrs. Wagner is a homemaker. She enjoys playing the banjo.
