Diana and R. Fred Hunt

R. Fred and Diana Hunt of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a surprise gathering of family and friends.

Hunt married the former Diana Underwood April 6, 1957, in Chicago.

They have three children, Rob Hunt of Butler; Katherine Gard of Duvall, Wash.; and Brian Hunt of Chicago. They also have six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Hunt is retired from Abbott Laboratories, where he worked in clinical research for 29 years.

Mrs. Hunt worked as a licensed practical nurse in Illinois.

The couple attends Christ Community United Methodist Church.
