Elizabeth J. "Betty" Doutt, 77, of Renfrew died at 10 p.m. Monday at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot.

Born July 19, 1929, in West Newton, Westmoreland County, she was the daughter of John and Anna Mastlock Shalbot.

She had been a waitress at Morgan's Diner for 30 years.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. David (Jean) Sinz of Cabot, Patty Gealey of Punxsutawney, Barbara "Dewey" Chapman of Jackson, Ga., and Mrs. Roger (Pamela) Kober of Louisville, Ky.; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond B. Doutt, who died April 8, 2006; three sisters, and two brothers.
