William J. Weber

William John Weber, 51, of Capitola, Calif., died Friday at his home after a short illness.

He was born Feb. 29, 1956, in Middletown, Ohio, the son of the late John Holland and Betty West Weber. At the age of 2, his family moved to Butler.

He was a 1974 graduate of Butler High School and attended Butler County Community College.

He moved to California in 1980 and was self-employed in the Santa Cruz area for more than 25 years as a painting and home improvement contractor.

Bill will be best remembered for his fabulous sense of humor, his integrity and his devotion to his family and friends.

He enjoyed reading, golf and cooking.

He is survived by his beloved daughters, Julie Rose Weber and Grace Camille Weber of Watsonville, Calif.; a sister Melissa Coyle, her husband, Richard, and their children, Megan Coyle Scandora, Matthew Coyle and Sarah Coyle, all of Mt. Airy, Md.; and his stepbrother, W. Gregory Mott and family of Davidsonville., Md. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins and many wonderful friends.

<B>WEBER</B> — A private memorial service for William John Weber, who died Friday, March 9, 2007, was held in Santa Cruz, Calif.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. April 14 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler.Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.The family requests that memorial donations made be made to Hospice Caring Project of Santa Cruz County, 940 Disc Drive, Scotts Valley. CA 95066.
