Lola M. Fox
Lola M. Fox, 97, of Cabot died Sunday at Concordia Luth-eran Ministries in Cabot.
Born May 28, 1909, in Sarver, she was the daughter of Matthew and Nellie Blackburn Montgomery.
She enjoyed being a farmer's wife on the family farm.
Mrs. Fox was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church, where she was the oldest member and belonged to the Berean Bible Class. She also had been a member of the Saxonburg Women's Club.
Surviving are two sons, Bernard L. and Richard L. Fox, both of Cabot; four daughters, Mrs. Robert (Ruth) O'Connor of State College, Mrs. Eugene (Beverly) Chronister of York, Mrs. Paul (Wanda) McRoberts of Wakefield, R.I., and Jane H. Fox of Seattle, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Lavada Wiegand of Cabot and Mrs. Verna McCrea of Georgetown, Del.; 11 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis H. Fox, who died May 14, 1983, and they had celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary shortly before his death.
She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Ganelle Alderson; a brother, Clifford Montgomery, and a sister, Dorothy Sell.
