Rupp

Richard Rupp of Mars, formerly of Swissvale, celebrated his 100th birthday recently with a gathering of family and friends in Vesper Hall at St. John's Health Care Center.

Rupp was born March 28, 1907, in Pittsburgh. He married Esther Wallis July 30, 1936.

He has a son, Richard Rupp of Pataskala, Ohio. Another son, Gary Rupp, is deceased.

He also has four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Rupp retired from U.S. Steel and Swindell-Dressler. He is currently a member of Mars United Methodist Church and was formerly active at Swissvale United Methodist Church.
