Richard Goepfert
Richard H. "8 Ball" Goepfert Sr., 61, of Butler died Thursday at Alle-Kiski Medical Center.
Born June 6, 1945, in Cabot, he was the son of Dorothy C. Birckbichler Goepfert and the late Franklin W. Goepfert Sr.
He had worked as a welder at Pullman Standard and as a truck driver for Don Martin Trucking. He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church, the Saxonburg VFW Post 7376, a social member of the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company and the Chicora Moose 962.
He enjoyed karaoke.
He is survived by his mother of Butler; two sons, Richard H. Goepfert Jr. of Neville Island and LeRoy (Amber) Goepfert of Butler; two sisters, Mrs. Gary (Sarah) Braden and Mrs. James (Lois) Rankin, both of Butler; and five grandchildren.
Preceding him in death was a brother, Franklin W. Goepfert Jr.

Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev.
