Powers 50th anniversary
Jim and Arlene Powers
Jim and Arlene Powers of Saxonburg celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner Saturday. An Alaskan cruise is also planned.
The former Arlene Thomas married Powers April 13, 1957, at Bakerstown United Presbyterian Church in Bakerstown.
They have three children, Jim Powers of Valencia, Tim Powers of Frederick, Md., and Sharon McManus of Saxonburg.They also have two grandchildren.Powers is a retired truck driver.Mrs. Powers is a homemaker.
