11:07 p.m. Thursday — Apickup truck driven by CharlesTurner, 46, of Donegal Township hit a utility pole at East Jefferson and Kittanning streets. Turner told police he was attempting to make a call on a cell phone when his pickup veered off the road, hitting and shearing off the utility pole. He was cited for careless driving.
8:30 p.m. Sunday — Charmaine Miller, 29, of Grove City was arrested for driving under the influence on Whitestown Road9:20 p.m. Friday — Two Greene County men were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop on Evans City Road.Jeffrey McCullough, 39, of Graysville is charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving a vehicle with expired and suspended registration and driving without insurance.John McCullough, 37, also of Graysville, a passenger in the vehicle, is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
7:50 a.m. Monday — Acar driven by Todd Marsteller, 43, of Polk, Franklin County, and a tractor-trailer driven by Paul Carlantonio, 23, of Boyers collided on Route 308 near Route 58 in Marion Township. Marsteller, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.Monday — Two Clay Township residents reported that someone used their identities to open telephone accounts in their names. Police are investigating the cases of identity theft.10 p.m. Sunday — Terry Ulisky, 49, of Karns City allegedly used a leather belt to strike a 16-year-old girl about the buttocks, lower back and upper legs, during an assault on Redwood Road in Parker Township. Police charged Ulisky with terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment.12:21 p.m. Saturday — Acar driven by Christopher Martinkovich, 19, of Evans City struck a mailbox and rolled onto its roof along Woodlands Road in Connoquenessing Township. Martinkovich, who suffered minor injuries, was cited for driving too fast for conditions, driving without a license and not wearing a seat belt.
5:30 p.m. Monday — Acar driven by Thelma Frederick, 64, of Grove City struck the driver's side door of a state police cruiser driven by Trooper Eric Miller at Route 58 and George Junior Road in Grove City, Mercer County.The crash occurred as Miller was responding to a call, with the cruiser's emergency lights and siren activated. No one was injured but both vehicles sustained moderate damage.9:54 a.m. Sunday — Acar driven by a Greenville boy struck a large rock and rolled onto its roof along Route 965 near Route 173 in Worth Township, Mercer County. AFredonia girl riding in the car and wearing a seat belt suffered a minor leg injury. Police did not identify either occupant.8:10 a.m. Sunday — Asport utility vehicle driven by Karissa Crow, no age given, of Grove City skidded into a ditch on snow-covered Airport Road in Pine Township, Mercer County.3 a.m. Saturday — Sport utility vehicles driven by John Whalen, 45, of Mercer and Joel Nethercott, 21, of Fulton, N.Y., collided at School and Cemetery roads in Sandy Lake Township, Mercer County.Whalen and Daniel Lawrence, 16, of Elma, N.Y., a passenger in Nethercott's vehicle, suffered minor injuries; both were wearing seat belts.Police said Whalen, following the collision, fled the scene. He faces charges of driving too fast for conditions and failing to immediately notify police of an accident.
