Cliff Fisher of Chicora celebrated his 85th birthday recently with a family dinner.

Fisher was born April 7, 1922. He married Genevieve Carben June 26, 1946.

He has three children, Sally Fisher, Larry Fisher and Ed Fisher.

He also has eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Fisher is a former employee of Allis Chalmers, Deritz-Allis. A veteran of the Army, he served in World War II.

He is a member of St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church in Summit Township.
