3:27 a.m. Sunday — Chad MacDonald, 37, of Los Angeles was arrested for driving under the influence on Mitchell Avenue. Police also cited MacDonald for driving without a license and a high beam violation.10:56 a.m. Sunday — Cars driven by Samantha Bear, 17, of Butler and Allison Higgins, 25, of Marysville, Ohio, collided at South Main and East Wayne streets.Higgins and Alhly Beichner, 17, of Butler Township, a passenger in Bear's car, suffered minor injuries. Both were wearing seat belts. Police cited Bear for a red light violation.5:48 p.m. Saturday — Three city officers rescued a woman who threatened to jump off the top level of the city's tier parking garage.The woman, who authorities did not identify, was spotted leaning over the railing and making statements that she was depressed and wanted to jump, a police report said. Police knew the woman had previous mental health issues.When the situation seemed to grow more tense as the woman leaned farther over the railing, officer Bill Mayhugh continued talking to her as officers Chad Rensel and Brian Grooms approached her undetected and grabbed her.No one was injured. The woman was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for evaluation.Friday — Emily Lopus, 21, of Center Township is accused of forging three checks owned by Edward Fend of Butler, and cashing them for $950 between March 15 and April 3. Lopus, who denied any wrongdoing, is charged with forgery.

7:15 a.m. Sunday — A car driven by Brenda Wolfe, 50, of Butler struck an embankment and rolled onto its roof on ice-covered Fallecker Road in Oakland Township.10 a.m. Saturday — David Howard Johnston, 36, of Slippery Rock was arrested for allegedly taking a riding lawn mower, lumber and a gas can from the Route 8 home of Kristy Fedorchak in Mercer Township. Johnson faces charges of burglary, theft and receiving stolen property.9:30 a.m. Saturday — Jason Gavinski, 29, of West Sunbury was arrested for allegedly taking metal parts from an oil pump on Stephanie Road in Concord Township. Gavinski is charged with theft. Gary Ball of Chicora owns the stolen property.2:45 a.m. Saturday — Karesa Hodak, 21, of Valencia was arrested for driving under the influence on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township at the Allegheny County line. Police also cited Hodak for speeding and careless driving.Saturday — Vandals between 11 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday tipped over a Pepsi machine outside Friedman's market on West Water Street in Saxonburg. The machine sustained about $100 in damages.9:35 p.m. Friday — A mini-van driven by Robert Neal, 57, of West Sunbury struck a mailbox, fence and utility pole along Moran Road in Clearfield Township. Neal, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered unknown injuries.Friday — Three unknown burglars between 3:45 and 4:15 a.m. broke into nine unoccupied trailers and tried to force their way into several others at the Slippery Rock Campground on West Park Road in Worth Township.Police believe one of the suspects cut his hand or forearm during the crime spree, after finding blood in or around some of the trailers.Investigators noted that the burglars apparently parked a vehicle at the Dairy Queen at Route 108 and West Park Road, wand walked into the campground. Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call the barracks at 724-284-8100.

4:50 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Quinton Myers, 25, of Lansdale, Montgomery County, skidded off snow-covered Interstate 80, hit an embankment and rolled onto its roof in Allegheny Township, Butler County. Willean Anglin, 70, of Detroit, a passenger wearing a seat belt, was treated for minor injuries at Grove City Medical Center.1:50 a.m. Friday — William Brink, 36, of East Brady was arrested for allegedly assaulting Jill Brink, 34, of East Brady during a domestic dispute at a Kelly's Way home in East Brady, Clarion County. William Brink was arraigned on a charge of simple assault, and placed in the Clarion County Jail on $2,500 bond.

12:35 a.m. Sunday — Joshua Kyle Edwards, 23, of Worthington was arrested for driving under the influence on Route 1038 in West Kittanning, Armstrong County. Police also cited Edward for not using his turn signal.1 p.m. Saturday — A mini-van driven by Diana Bernat, 41, of Troy, Bradford County, and a car driven by James Hindman, 51, of Butler collided on Route 66 in Manor Township, Armstrong County. Police cited Bernat with careless driving.4:24 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Patrick Collar, 29, of Freeport struck a construction barrel on Route 28 in O'Hara Township, Allegheny County. Collar, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.12:50 a.m. Saturday — Kenneth Knestrick Jr., 22, of McDonald, Washington County, was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 28 near the Buffalo Bridge in South Buffalo Township, Armstrong County.Police searched the car, owned by Tess Lowe, 19, of Hastings, Cambria County, after a trooper detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Police allegedly found about 48 grams of suspected marijuana and a "large quantity" of fentanyl, a powerful prescription painkiller.Police said their investigation continues.

9 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Charles Mellott, 46, of Stoneboro slid into the side of a dump truck salting and plowing snow-covered Bradley Road in Worth Township, Mercer County. Mellott and two children riding in the car, suffered minor injuries; all were wearing seat belts. William Struthers, 68, of Stoneboro, was driving the truck.1:50 a.m. Saturday — Steven Dunkerley, 21, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of DUI after his vehicle crashed on Old Ash Road near Route 258 in Springfield Township, Mercer County. Police also cited Dunkerley for driving too fast for conditions and careless driving.5 p.m. Thursday — Tyler Moore, 19, of Mercer was arrested for suspicion of DUI after his pickup truck struck a tree along Milburn Road in Springfield Township. Moore, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.
