5:38 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Leah Perecko, 22, of Monongahela, Washington County, struck a guardrail on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. Police cited Perecko for an undisclosed traffic violation.4:09 p.m. Wednesday — George Anthony Schaffner, 40, of Chicora was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 8 near Three Degree Road in Penn Township. Police also cited Schaffner for careless driving, a lane violation and not wearing a seat belt.Wednesday — Police reported Shannon Larimore. 24, of Butler was charged for allegedly stealing $3,717 in goods and services from her former employer, John D. Clark Trucking in Oakland Township. Larimore is accused of forging checks and using a company credit card to pilfer the money. She is charged with felony theft by unlawful taking, access device fraud, forgery and theft by deception.Wednesday — An unidentified vehicle struck a car in the parking lot at McConnells MillState Park in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County, and did not stop. Nichole Katko, 19, of Butler, was driving the car.Monday — Arife was stolen Sunday or Monday from a cargo trailer at the Railroad Street home of William Robb in Chicora.

8:25 p.m. Tuesday — Kenneth Newman, 50, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence at Routes 28 and 422 in East Franklin Township, Armstrong County. Police also cited Newman for three traffic violations.

1:12 a.m. Wednesday — Steven Pope, 45, of Center Township was arrested for driving under the influence on Center Avenue. Police also cited Pope for a red light violation.8:29 p.m. Tuesday — Alexander Stehlik, 18, of Butler was charged in a hit-and-run crash at Main and Penn streets.Police said Stehlik was driving a pickup truck that struck a car driven by Jane Stitt, 55, of Ford City and drove off after the collision. Stehlik was cited for accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle and driving with a suspended license.
