MUDDY CREEK TWP — The following programs have been announced at Moraine State Park:• "Who Took My Home," 10 a.m. Friday, Shelter 7, North Shore. The program will focus on habitat loss and its effect on threatened, endangered and rare species.• "Whitetails: Our State Symbol," 10 a.m. April 7, Shelter 1, South Shore. The program will be led by the park naturalist.• "AMDand Moraine," 2 p.m. April 7, Davis Hollow Marina public launch, North Shore. PITTSBURGH — The Western Pennsylvania Genealogical Society will host its spring seminar April 21 at the Holiday Inn, Greentree.The featured speaker will be Michael John Neill, columnist for Ancestry Daily News.Presentation topics include "Organizing Your Information: Seeing the Patterns," "Discovering Your Own Migration Trail," "Researching Your European Origins Online" and "Brick Walls A to Z."Admission is $40 for members of the genealogical society or WQEDor $45 for non-members.Registration is due April 10. Debra Lanzarotta of the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Foundation will speak on environmental issues and cancer at the next meeting of the Butler Breast Cancer Support Group.She will also provide information about the Race for the Cure to be held on Mother's Day.The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. April 3 in Classroom 5 at Butler Memorial Hospital.
