MUDDY CREEK TWP — Moraine State Park will host the community program "Bluebirds: Sign of Spring"at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Participants should meet at Shelter 7 on the North Shore.

Paul Lucas, a representative from the Adult Literacy Program of Butler County Community College, will be at the Butler Public Library from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday to talk about the general equivalency diploma.

Lucas will meet with individuals on the second floor of the library to tell them when and where the test for the GEDis given, what types of questions are on it, and about the free classes at BC3 to prepare for the test.

As part of its partnership with BC3, the library bought materials recommended by the Adult Literacy Program to help people sharpen their skills, prepare for jobs or complete their GED.

The Butler YWCA, 120 W. Cunningham St., will offer a beginners yoga (Hatha) class from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the facility, 120 W. Cunningham St.Cost is $5 per session.
