Butler freshman Logan Renwick certainly made a big impression in his first varsity track and field meet Wednesday against Knoch.

Renwick won the 110 hurdles (15.8 seconds), the high jump (5 feet, 8 inches) and the triple jump (43-4½ ) as the Tornado won handily, 112-38.

Butler also swept the relays and had individual wins from nine other athletes.

In the girls meet, Butler prevailed 91-59 behind wins from Tess Crispin (800, 1,600) and Lea Renwick (100, 200).

For Knoch, Carol Cress won the shot and discus, and Regina Robb took the 110 hurdles and triple jump.

• Cam Stauffer won the 800 and 1,600, and Tim Miles won the shot put and discus to highlight the Seneca Valley boys team to a 100-50 victory over Shaler.

The Raiders girls team lost a tight 78Z\c-71Z\c against Shaler despite wins from Da'Lynn Mills (200, high jump) and Jen Boyd (long and triple jumps).

• Karns City's Tim Berteotti, Chris Harmon, Anthony Stimac and Corey Gifford each won two individual events that added up to a 96-54 boys victory over Union.

Xandria White won the 100, 200, long jump and was a member of the winning 400 relay in the Karns City girls team's 125-25 triumph over Union. Stephanie Isacco won the 400, 800 and was a member of two winning relays.

Tiffany Corle won the high jump and javelin for the Damsels.
