Hoover, Leyland

Colin and Brianna Leyland

Butler residents Brianna Hoover and Colin Leyland were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Oct. 14 at Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church in Chicora. The Rev. James Dolan officiated. A reception followed at the Vagabond Hall in Lyndora.

The bride is the daughter of David Hoover of Butler and Marjorie Hoover of Chicora. Parents of the bridegroom are John Leyland of Ann Arbor, Mich., and Kurt and Joanne Crosbie of Foxburg.

The maid of honor was Courtney Hoover of Chicora. Bridesmaids included Lindsey Curtis of Chicora; Audrey Hageter of New Bethlehem; Trish Zediker of Latrobe; Amanda Cobos of Pipe Creek, Texas; and Lindsey Leyland of Dormont. The junior bridesmaid was Kloe Crosbie of Foxburg. Kaylee Downing of Dallas, Ga., served as the flower girl.

Performing the duties of best man was Andy Schneider of Pittsburgh. Ushers included Chris Comtois and Mike Leyland, both of Columbus, Ohio; Bryan Greenawalt of Butler; Ryan Bonetto of East Brady; and Nate Leyland of Raleigh, N.C. The junior groomsman was Kristian Crosbie of Foxburg. Aidan Leyland of Pipe Creek served as ring bearer.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Karns City High School and a 2001 graduate of Mercyhurst College. He works at the Office of Personnel Management in Boyers.

The bridegroom graduated in 1996 from Karns City High School and in 2000 from Westminster College. He works for the Butler School District.

Following a honeymoon trip to the Amalfi Coast in Italy, the couple is making their home in Butler.
