The Unicorn Gift Store at 221 S. Main St. is celebrating its 26th anniversary as a store specializing in women's accessories, candles, and decorative accessories for the home.

According to owner Nancy Monday-Yates, the goal is "to provide a pleasurable shopping experience by offering a relaxing atmosphere, an eclectic assortment of merchandise and a friendly, knowledgeable staff focused on excellent customer service."

In addition to Monday-Yates, the store employs six women, Danielle Stenzel, Rose Green, Dorothy Steighner, Suzzanne Nichol, Leslie George and Traci Morris, to help with your shopping needs. They can even help you host a Yankee Candle or Baubles and Bangles party at the store in the evening.

The store held its spring open house on March 23, 24, and 25, and will host a "pretty porches" event on April 8.
