Marburger Farm Dairy
With more than 160 years of farming, and five generations of experience, the Marburger Farm Dairy label has come to signify quality and diversification.
Located 40 miles north of Pittsburgh, Marburger Farm Dairy has been serving our area for 70 years.
A family business, Marburger Farm dairy is the only dairy left in Western Pennsylvania that still milks cows. In fact they not only milk 140 of their own cows but they buy milk from over 85 farms in the area.
Marburger Farm Dairy has earned much recognition among which is the treasured Century Family Farm Award.
The first day of operations in 1938 saw three cases of quart bottles. Today, the dairy processes more than 100,000 gallons of milk weekly.
That includes nearly 4,000 homes in the north Pittsburgh area and 2,000 schools, stores, hospitals and restaurants. Marburger Farm Dairy also services accounts between Erie and the West Virginia border.
When it comes to legalities, Marburger Farm Dairy meets or exceeds all federal, state and local codes and has a high level quality control program. It prides itself on bottling a quality and consistent product with over 140 employees.
A local landmark, Marburger Farm Dairy has built a name for itself with all of its products. However, without a doubt its gourmet buttermilk is the best known.
They currently ship buttermilk up and down the east coast and as far as the Mid-west. Last year it shipped 2.9 million quarts out-of-state to retailers.
Another thing Marburger Farm Dairy is known for is its service. The motto for everyday operations is "We treat every customer as if they were the only one."
When Marburger products are purchased, one not only supports the Pennsylvania dairy farmer and Butler County industry, but also support local families. Our farmers, production workers and delivery staff thank the consumers for keeping the local dairy strong and ask that when given the choice you choose Marburger products.
