Dolan

Charles Dolan Sr. of Concordia Nursing Home in Jefferson Township, formerly of Butler, will celebrate his 90th birthday Wednesday.

Dolan was born March 28, 1917, in Pittsburgh. He married Jane Macpherson on Sept. 16, 1942. She is deceased.

He has two sons, Charles Dolan Jr. and the Rev. James Dolan, both of Butler.

Dolan worked as a supervisor/manager at Airco in Butler.

Aveteran of the Army Air Corps Engineers, he served during World War IIin operations in the China, Burma and India area.

Dolan has been a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Butler Township since 1963. He is a former member of the St. Fidelis parish council.
