Bombalski

Zygmunt Bombalski of Concordia Lutheran Ministries' Haven I Apartments in Jefferson Township, formerly of Natrona Heights, celebrated his 90th birthday with a party Saturday for friends and family in the Lund Care Center at Concordia.

Bombalski was born March 22, 1917, in Natrona. He married Eleanor Kordzi on Nov. 20, 1948.

He has two children, Ellen Bombalski of Richmond, Va., and Daniel Bombalski of Aliquippa. He also has two grandchildren.

Bombalski retired in 1979 as a coil shipper for Allegheny Ludlum Steel. He is a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Parish in Cabot.

He served in the Air Force for four years and four months during World War II. During that time, he was a staff sergeant in the 8th and 15th Air Force. His hobbies include reading, crossword puzzles and collecting coins.
