James F. Hill III, 33, of Mars died Wednesday morning at his home.

Born in Boynton Beach, Fla., Oct. 20, 1973, he was the son of Sharon Vandekerchkhove Carkeek of Florida and the late James F. Hill Jr.

He worked in restaurant maintenance for the Hereford & Hops Restaurant in Cranberry Township.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Christopher Hill at home; a daughter, Madeline Hill of Jeannette; a sister, Nicole Salada and her fiancé, Joe Simoni, of Mars; a brother, Michael Hill (Beth) of North Carolina; and his grandfather, Robert Vandekerchkhove of Florida.

He was the uncle of Kevin Hill of North Carolina and Reed and Kieran Salada of Mars; the nephew of Daryl and Lynn McKinney and Lillian Coghlan, all of Florida; and a cousin of Scott McKinney, also of Florida.
