Jackson C. Craig
Jackson Curtis Craig, 92, of Highland Avenue died at 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Sunnyview Home.
Born Oct. 6, 1914, in New Castle, he was the son of Arthur Richard and Madge Humes Craig.
Mr. Craig was a graduate of the New Castle High School and received a degree in engineering science and management from Penn State University. He retired in 1972 as a millwright for Carpenters Union Local 2235 after 60 years.
He was a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church and a volunteer at St. Vincent DePaul. He also was an active member of the Christopher Gist Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, where he was a past president.
Surviving are three daughters, Colleen Tincha and Kathy Ford and her husband, David, all of Butler and Carol White and her husband, Richard, of Cambridge Springs; a son, Tom Craig and his wife, Carol, of Butler; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews
His wife, Ethel M. Mack, whom he married Nov. 29, 1939, died Dec. 26, 1979. He also was preceded in death by a son-in-law, George Tincha; two grandchildren; a brother, Jefferson Craig of Ellwood City; a half brother, Charles Key of New Castle; and two half sisters.

North St.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church, 125 Buttercup Road, with the Rev.
