Frederick B. Grimm
Frederick B. Grimm, 87, of Mars, formerly of Carrick, died Wednesday at the Good Samaritan House, Wexford.
Born in Pittsburgh, Sept. 19, 1919, he was the son of Bernard and Diana Grimm.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and had been an electrician at the J & L Steel South Side Works.
Mr. Grimm was a former member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Carrick.
Surviving are a daughter, Diane Spuntak-Delligatti of Mars; a son, Frederick Grimm Jr. of Lebanon, Ohio; a grandson; and two great-grandchildren. He also is survived by two brothers and a sister, Donald, Bernard and Pearl Grimm, all of Carrick.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy J. Scurfield Grimm, who died Aug. 26, 2005, and by a brother.
