Abba Christian CenterThe congregation of Abba Christian Center, Slippery Rock Middle School, will host a worship service at 7 p.m. Friday at the Slippery Rock Township Building, 155 Branchton Road, Slippery Rock.

Butler Church of the NazareneMusic for the 10:45 a.m. Sunday service at Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68, Butler Township, will be provided by Chrisann Green. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Ron Reagle.Those attending the Pfeifers' concert at Butler County Community College, will depart from the church at 6:15 p.m. Friday.The adult and children's timbrel team will meet for practice Sunday.The Area Children's Talent performances will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at the church. Christ Community U.M.The third and fourth grade Sunday school class of Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, Butler Township, will meet at 6 p.m. Friday at the church for a "Get To Know Your Bible" sleepover. Permission forms should be returned to Mel Alston. Students may be picked up at noon Saturday.Daffodil bunches will be sold after services Sunday to support the American Cancer Society.Chocolate-covered pretzels are available for purchase in the narthex to support the July mission trip to South Dakota. Cost is $1 per package.The annual Holy Week Prayer Vigil will begin at 9 p.m. April 6. Sign-up sheets for half-hour time slots are in the narthex. Members are asked to sign a prayer request book with joys and concerns. Other materials will also be available in the prayer room during devotions.

Christ's OutreachDebby Price and Patty Helms will present music for the Sunday service at Christ's Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave. Free audio Bibles will be handed out to each adult and child.The Caravan Kids will gather for a Pinewood Derby workshop from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.Adult choir will hold a rehearsal at 6 p.m. Thursday.
