James McManus

McManus

James P. McManus, 81, of Beaver Falls, formerly of Harmony, died Sunday at Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford.

Born Sept. 30, 1925, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of James F. and Frances Relich McManus.

Mr. McManus was a World War II Army veteran and previously had served in the Navy.

For 18 years, he had owned and operated the Whiskey Hollow Inn in Harmony.

He is survived by his wife, Mary McManus, whom he married Jan. 31, 1953; three daughters, Linda Orr and her husband, John, of Beaver Falls, Jamie Burgh and her husband, Doug, of Zelienople and Kathleen Mulneix and her husband, Randy, of North Sewickley Township, Beaver County; two sons, Raymond McManus of Beechview and Charles McManus and his wife, Gay, of Jacksonville, Fla.; and 10 grandchildren, Tracy Lynn and James Orr, Justin Burgh, Brittney, Brooke and Brent Mulneix and Rachael, Matthew, Mark and Michelle McManus. A great-granddaughter also survives.

A brother, Charles McManus, preceded him in death.

<B>MCMANUS </B>— Friends of James P. McManus, who died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007, will be received from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home and Cremation Services</B>, 219 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
