7:49 a.m. Tuesday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Jennifer Fleeger, 32, of Slippery Rock skidded off ice-covered Hall Road in Clay Township, traveled into a ditch and rolled onto its side.7:20 a.m. Tuesday — Nathan Geibel, 18, of Cabot lost control of his car on ice-covered Sasse Road in Winfield Township and struck the front of a township salt truck driven by Gerald Frazak, 54, of Cabot.7 a.m. Tuesday — A pickup truck driven by Daniel Burford, 42, of Valencia crashed on ice-covered Route 228 in MiddlesexTownship, rolled over and caught fire. Burford was able to get out of the pickup without injury.6:45 a.m. Tuesday — A pickup driven by Steven Barker, 24, of Butler slid into a cement barrier on ice-covered Route 422 in Summit Township. The crash popped lose the truck's front tire, which hit a passing car driven by Karen Moon, 59, of Butler.Both drivers and Korrina Smith, 30, of Butler, a passenger in the car, suffered minor injuries. All were wearing seat belts.Tuesday — Police reported that two employees at the Glassmart convenience store on Dinnerbell Road in Jefferson Township are suspected of stealing $900 from the business since January. Police identified the suspects only as a 23-year-old woman and a 20-year-old woman. The investigation continues.2:45 p.m. Monday — Roland Bodnar, 52, of Petrolia lost control of his pickup truck on ice-covered Bruin Road in Washington Township. The truck struck an embankment and rolled onto its roof.1:30 p.m. Monday — Vehicles driven by Brent Bosch, 24, and Michelle Macklin, 20, both of Slippery Rock collided on Lindey Road in Brady Township.Police said Bosch faces a charge of driving on the wrong side of the road. Macklin faces a charge of driving with a suspended license.Monday — Jewelry, collector's coins and a Canon digital camera were taken between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. in a burglary at the Stone Church Road home of DuWayne and Joyce Flinner in Muddy Creek Township.Among the stolen jewelry was a man's gold and silver wedding band, two gold rings topped with a red ruby, a gold ring with dark green stone, and two women's rings with a small opal and a pair of diamond chips on the side.1:50 a.m. Sunday — Kriste Maitland, 30, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Route 8 and Sunset Drive in Center Township.Thursday — Richard Collier, 21, of Karns City was arrested for suspicion of DUI at Route 268 and Main Street Hill in Petrolia.
