Gizienski

Betty Jean Gizienski, 71, of Harmony died Monday at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot.

Born April 27, 1935, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Louis and Jean Novak Walchesky.

She had been a housekeeper at St. John's Lutheran Home in Mars for 35 years and retired in 2002.

Mrs. Gizienski enjoyed reading and baking.

Her husband, Henry J. Gizienski, died Feb. 27, 1997.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Mark (Loretta) Werner of and Mrs. Neil (Henrietta) Florentine, both of Gibsonia, Mrs. Howard (Patty) McCune of Butler and Mrs. Greg (Julie) Kozora of Cabot; three brothers, James and Ronald Walchesky, both of California, and Gary Walchesky of Pittsburgh; a sister, Mrs. Frank (Delores) Sunday of Pittsburgh; 12 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
