Agnes McKrisky of Concordia Lutheran Ministries Haven II Apartments, formerly of Lower Burrell, will celebrate her 85th birthday Wednesday at a luncheon with friends and family in the Haven IIdining room.

The former Agnes Tenerowicz was born March 21, 1922, in Crabtree. She married Steve McKrisky April 29, 1942.

She has three children, Carol Olshefski of Knoxville, Md.; Nancy Zabrowski of Pittsburgh; and Paula Radecki of Potomac, Md. She also has seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

McKrisky retired in 1980 as a department head for the retail store Gee Bees, and is currently a member at St. James Catholic Church in Apollo and the Rosary Confraternity.

She enjoys dancing, playing cards and volunteering in Concordia's Lund Care Center.
