6:18 p.m. March 10 — A pickup truck driven by Douglas Flick, 39, of Butler and a car driven by James Bennett, 27, of Butler collided at the intersection of West New Castle and Mercer streets. No one was injured. Flick was charged with driving under the influence, fleeing the scene of an accident and driving under a suspended license.

2:07 a.m. Friday — Terri M. Croft, 25, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence following a single-vehicle accident on Litman Road.State Police, Butler10:20 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Russell Lang, 24, hit a tree off snow-covered Route 68 in Connoquenessing. His passenger, Jonna Lang, 30, received unknown injuries. The driver and two other passengers, girls ages 2 and 5, were not injured. The two adults were wearing seat belts and the children were in car seats. Police report the road's condition caused the accident.9:40 p.m. Friday — A van driven by Rodger Shelatree, 42, of Prospect hit a metal fence off Main Street in Prospect. The driver was not wearing a seat belt, but was not injured. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.6:15 p.m. Friday — An SUV driven by Denise M. Bauer, 39, of Slippery Rock rolled over on Halston Road in Clay Township. She was wearing a seat belt and received unspecified injuries.4:46 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Robert Nolen, 46, of Canonsburg struck the barrier on a slushy Interstate 79 in Worth Township. He was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.4:20 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Fred Kelley of Slippery Rock wrecked off snow-covered Crestview Drive in Slippery Rock Township. Kelley, who was wearing a seat belt, received unspecified injuries.2:30 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Dawn Ann Mihalek, 41, of Harrisville hit a telephone pole off Branchton Road in Cherry Township. She was taken to Grove City Medical Center in Grove City for treatment of unspecified injuries. She was wearing a seat belt.2:30 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Sherri Pelletier of Harrisville wrecked on a snow-covered Keister Road in Slippery Rock Township. She was wearing a seat belt, but received unspecified injuries.2 p.m. Friday — A pickup truck driven by Leslie Clark, 39, of Evans City that was pulling an empty horse trailer hit a fence, tree and telephone pole off Fassinger Road in Connoquenessing Township. She was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.11:30 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Oscar Murphy, 73, of New Castle slid off a slushy Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township and struck a PennDOT sign. He was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.1:50 p.m. Thursday — Bruce Barnhart, 43, of West Sunbury was arrested for simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment after allegedly hitting Mark Barnhart, 41, of Chicora in the head, causing the younger man to hit his head on the tailgate of a truck off Cartwright Road in Concord Township. Bruce Barnhart was jailed in Butler County Prison but he is out after posting bond.Earlier in the day, someone broke the windows of Bruce Barnhart's Bobcat excavator, causing $700 in damage, while it was parked off Cartwright Road between 7 a.m. and noon.11:20 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Justin Ross, 16, of Fenelton hit a culvert and embankment off Cornetti Road in Clearfield Township. He was wearing a seat belt and received minor injuries. He was cited for careless driving.State Police, Mercer11 a.m. Friday — An SUV driven by Kenneth Bodamer, 22, of Titusville, Pa., and a minivan driven by Charles Feydo, 68, of Grove City collided on Route 208 in Pine Township. Feydo was taken by Superior Ambulance to the Grove City Medical Center for treatment of neck pain. Bodamer received minor injuries. The Pine Township Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.2:45 a.m. Friday — Joshua Winder, 24, of Grove City was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and careless driving following a traffic stop on Blacktown Road in Springfield Township.9:45 a.m. Thursday — An SUV driven by Raeman Hanna, 50, of Harrisville and a tractor-trailer driven by James Carr, 80, of Kennerdell, Pa., collided on snow-covered Barkeyville Road in Pine Township. No injuries were reported, but the occupants of both vehicles were taken by private vehicles to the Grove City Medical Center. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.9:30 a.m. Thursday — An ambulance driven by Dennis Szakelyhidi, 56, of Ellwood City hit a tree off slush-covered Route 173 in Wolf Creek Township while en route to a call. The driver received moderate injuries while a passenger, Natalie Smith, 19, of Jackson Center, received minor injuries. Both occupants of the Superior Ambulance vehicle were wearing seat belts.8:35 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Mary Rapone, 20, of New Castle struck a guardrail off slush-covered Interstate 79 in Springfield Township. She was wearing a seat belt and received minor injuries.8:18 a.m. Thursday — A pickup truck pulling an empty utility trailer and driven by Todd Huntsman, 39, of Strongsville, Ohio, rolled several times before stopping on its roof on Interstate 79 in Springfield Township. Huntsman was taken by Superior Ambulance to the Grove City Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. The Grove City Volunteer Fire Department and PennDOT assisted at the scene.10:30 p.m. Wednesday — Eric Jelle, 27, of Savage, Minn., was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana following a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township.

4:10 p.m. Friday — A car driven by David Kerr, 22, of New Castle went over an embankment off snow- and slush-covered Route 65 in Slippery Rock Township and hit several trees. Kerr, who was not wearing a seat belt, received a face wound. He was driven to Ellwood City Hospital by his father. Kerr was cited for not driving on roads laned for traffic.3 p.m. Friday — An SUV driven by Nita Heck, 53, of Fombell slid off icy Old Mile Hill Road in Perry Township and hit a telephone pole. Heck was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.
