Pakozdi

Lois E. Pakozdi, 83, of Richland Township died Thursday morning at UPMC Passavant Hospital, McCa-ndless Township.

Born Oct. 23, 1923, in Valencia, she was the daughter of David and Charlotte Platt Boice.

She retired from the Pine-Richland School District, where she worked in the cafeteria.

She was a member of the Valencia United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Daniel Pakozdi Jr. of Richland Township and Robert Pakozdi (Donna) of Renfrew; a brother, Robert Boice (Janice) of Prospect; two grandchildren, Carri and Chad Pakozdi; and also nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Pakozdi Sr., whom she married May 17, 1944, and who died Aug. 2, 1997; and by five brothers and two sisters.

Pakozdi, who died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.Funeral services will be at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev.
