Helen E. Zeigler
Helen E. Zeigler, 90, of Zelienople, formerly of New Sewickley Township, Beaver County, died Sunday at the Passavant Retirement Community, Zelienople.
Born Dec. 15, 1916, in Jackson Township, she was the daughter of Elmer and Caroline Burr Frankenstein.
Mrs. Zeigler was a member of the Oak Grove Lutheran Church, New Sewickley Township, and the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
She was an auxiliary member of the Farm Bureau and a volunteer in the gift shop at the Passavant Health Center in Zelienople. She also had worked alongside her husband on their farm in New Sewickley Township.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Anne Kramer and her husband, Al, of Cranberry Township and Emily Sue Kroll and her husband, Terry, of New Sewickley Township; two sons, David C. Zeigler and his wife, Brenda, of Harmony and Richard N. Zeigler and his wife, Joyce, of Manheim; a brother, John "Jack" Frankenstein of Zelienople; and two sisters, Marlene Vaughn and her husband, Harold, of West Chester and Caroline "Tootie" Altemus and her husband, Kenneth of Zelienople.
She also is survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman C. Zeigler, who died Dec. 26, 2003; a brother, Peter Zeigler; and a sister Margaret Schramm-Pflugh.

Grandview Ave., Zelienople.Funeral services will be at noon Saturday at Oak Grove Lutheran Church, 432 Harkins Mill Road, New Sewickley Township, with the Rev. Dr. Janice Altenburger officiating.
