Jones

Carol H. Jones, 76, of Butler died at 12:05 a.m. Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born March 3, 1930, in Allegheny County, she was the daughter of Frederick and Helen Stubenbordt.

She loved sports and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing slots and roller skating.

Mrs. Jones had been a bus driver for 18 years in Center Township for the Butler School District and for 10 years for the Northwestern School District in Erie County.

Surviving are her husband, Robert H. Jones, whom she married Aug. 27, 1956; a daughter, Mrs. Jeffrey (Cindy) Boice of Mars; a son, Ronald Jones of Key West, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Taylor and Jared Boice, both of Mars.

Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Jon (Nancy) Disher of Mars, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters.

<B>JONES </B>— Friends of Carol H. Jones, who died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St. Visitation will also be held from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, where services will follow at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Matt Kail officiating.
