Ray

Loretta C. Ray, 85, of Chicora died at 6:15 p.m. Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Donegal Township, Aug. 6, 1921, she was the daughter of Mervyn and Loretta Graham Double.

She had worked at Bartoli's Dry Cleaners in Butler for 24 years.

Mrs. Ray was a member of the Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church of Chicora and the Altar-Rosary Society of the church.

Surviving are three sons, Mervyn Ray of Erie, William Ray of Slippery Rock and John Ray of Butler; four grandchildren; five sisters, and several nieces and nephews.

Slippery Rock St., Chicora.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church, 409 N. Main St., Chicora, with the Rev. David DeWitt officiating.Burial will be in the St. Patrick Cemetery, Sugar Creek Township, Armstrong County.
