Lottie T. Hays, 79, of Butler died Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Oct. 16, 1927, in Detroit, she was the daughter of John J. and Pauline B. Nowakowski Skal.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Butler, and was a homemaker, and enjoyed baking.

Surviving are six sons, Darrel G. Hays of Herman, George E. Hays of West Sunbury, Charles W. Hays of Fenelton, Raymond L., Robert J., and Ken P. Hays, all of Butler; three daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Carol A.)Wiles, and Mrs. James (GeorgiaL.) Gall, all of Butler, and Mrs. William (Connie S.)Huffman of Butler; 21 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by a sister, Elizabeth Elliott ofThornville, Ohio; and five brothers, Carl Skal of Mount Vernon, Ohio, Walter Skal of Thornville, Ohio, Paul Skal of Erie, and Edward and Robert Skal, both of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Hays, who died Sept. 22, 2005, a son, three brothers, and a sister.

<B>Hays</B> — Friends of Lottie T. Hays, who died Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N.
