Linda D. Catalfano
Linda D. Catalfano, 53, of Butler died Thursday evening at Butler Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
Born Nov. 9, 1953, inButler, she was the daughter of Daniel P. Catalfano Sr. and the late Gloria Mancino Catalfano.
A 1972 graduate of Butler High School, she also attended Butler County Community College and graduated from PennState University in 1977 as a rehabilitation counselor.
She formerly was employed as a rehab counselor at the Irene Stacy Community Mental Health Center, and she resumed her career in Hawaii.
She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, a church greeter, and secretary of the Ladies of Charity.
An avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State fan, she also was a member of the Nittany Lions Club at PennState. She loved being with people and always had a smile for everyone.
In addition to her father, she is survived by a brother, Daniel P. Catalfano Jr. and his wife Marilyn of Butler; her fiance, Ralph Mariotti, of Butler; two nieces, Nicole Catalfano, and Lori Brady and her husband Tim, all of Butler; a nephew, Christopher Catalfano and his wife Amanda of Butler; a grandnephew, Alex Catalfano of Butler; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Catalfano, who died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, with the Rev. James Dolan, pastor, officiating.Entombment will be in St. Michael's Mausoleum.The Bereavement Group of St. Michael the Archangel Parish will conduct a scriptural wake service at the funeral home at 3 p.m. Sunday.Information also is available at www.martinfh.net.
