Marburger, Hawkins
An April 21 wedding is being planned by Tina Marburger of Wilmington, N.C., and Major Ted Hawkins of Ferry, N.C.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Richard and Marcia Marburger of Evans City. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Ronald and Sharon Hawkins of Ellenboro, N.C.
The bride-elect is a 1989 graduate of Seneca Valley High School; a 1993 graduate of Penn State University, earning a bachelor's degree in accounting; and a 2005 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where she received her master's degree in business administration. She works for Centro Watt in Wilmington.
Her fiancé graduated in 1987 from East Rutherford High School and in 1991 from North Carolina State University, where he received a bachelor of science degree in landscape horticulture. He currently serves in the Marine Corps.
