BUTLER TWP — Butler County Community College and the Butler County Manufacturing Consortium will host a manufacturing technology expo this month.

The event, "Hot Careers and Cool Jazz," allows manufacturers to display information on company products and technology, to meet with job seekers about job openings and training, provide career information for students interested in the field and enhance the growth of local manufacturing.

The expo will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 16 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 17 in the Science and Technology Building on BC3's main campus.

While focusing on the promotion of manufacturing technology in the county, a performance by the Trinity Jazz Orchestra at 7:30 p.m. March 16 in the Succop Theater completes this co-sponsored event. The performance is open to the public and does not require participation in the expo.

Admission to the jazz concert is $12 for the public and $10 for students. Tickets are available online at bc3.edu or by calling the Succop Theater Box office at 724-284-8505.
