Wilbert C. Rahiser Jr.
Wilbert C. "Will" Rahiser Jr., 62, of West Metzger Avenue died at 3:15 p.m. Saturday at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot.
Born Nov. 11, 1944, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Wilbert C. and Margaret Kline Rahiser.
He received his bachelor's degree in education from Waynesburg College and his teaching certificate from Slippery Rock University. He retired in 2000 as a social studies teacher for the Butler School District after 30 years.
Mr. Rahiser was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and received five Bronze Stars and three Purple Hearts. He was a member of the 1st Battalion 50th Infantry Division of Retired Vietnam War Veterans.
He enjoyed traveling, reading and golfing.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara A. Barrett Rahiser of Butler, whom he married Dec. 7, 1974; a sister, Mrs. Douglas (Nancy) Leonberg of Cranberry Township; a niece; two nephews, and an aunt.
