Sandra F. Herold
Sandra Fae "Sandy" Herold, 61, of Prospect died Tuesday as the result of a snowmobile accident in Cherry Township.
Born Nov. 30, 1945, in Connellsville, she was the daughter of the late Harry E. and Anna C. Clover Hart.
She was an animal lover who loved feeding deer and outdoor animals. She loved spending time with her dogs, cooking and birdwatching.
She graduated in 1997 from Butler County Community College with a business degree and was employed by STA as a bus driver for Slippery Rock School District.
Surviving are her husband, David G. Herold of Prospect; two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Donna) Bonzon of Boyers and Kim Williamson of Prospect; two sons, Charles R. Darrell and his wife, Jeanne, of Valencia, and Scott G. Strickler and his wife, Yesenia, of Florida; four grandchildren, Adam Bonzon of Boyers, Nathan Darrell, with the Marines in Iraq, and Tyler and Kolby Darrell, both of Valencia; and two great-grandchildren, Faith and Gavin.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Pam (Maxine) Striker and Geraldine Spilman, both of Connellsville; two brothers, Harry Kimmel of Florida and Jay Hart of Ohio; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ronnie, Dick and Buck Hart.
<B>HEROLD</B> — Friends of Sandra F. "Sandy" Herold, who died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St.Services will follow at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev.
