Beverly Williams
Beverly Louise Williams, 79, of Main Street, Bruin, died Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital after a short and unexpected illness.
Born in Washington Township, Dec. 21, 1927, she was the daughter of George Owen and Corlena Margaret Kane Stewart.
She was a member of Bruin United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Williams was a 1945 graduate of Concord Township High School in Hooker.
She was a former member of Amaranth, Rebekah and the Eastern Star lodges. She served as a gray lady at Butler Memorial for years and was an EMT with Petrolia Ambulance and Bruin Rescue for years.
She married John Calvin Williams on June 3, 1948, at Fairview United Presbyterian Church; and he survives. Other survivors are a son, Gregory Stewart Williams of Wilmington, Del.; a daughter and her husband, Georjean Marie Coco and David of Winchester, Va.; eight grandchildren, Melissa Ann Williams of Bruin, who lives with her grandparents and serves as their caregiver, Alycia Trapp of Rock Hill, S.C., Jessica Coco of Somerville, Mass., Emily Mulholland and her husband, Chris, of Cross Junction, Va., Amanda Trapp and Austin Coco, both of Winchester, John Calvin Williams III of East Butler and Bridgett Hinderliter of Chicora; and three great-grandchildren.
A sister, Leabelle Jean Heilbron and her husband, William, of Newark, Del., also survives.
She was preceded in death by a son, John Calvin Williams II, who died May 31, 2003; a brother, George Stewart Jr.; and three sisters, Betty and Virginia Stewart and Phyllis Ann DeFoggi, who died Jan. 1, 2000.
<B>WILLIAMS</B> — Friends of Beverly Louise Williams, who died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at <B>Richard D. Hillis Funeral Home</B>, 102 Argyle St., Petrolia.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wade Berkey, her church pastor, and the Rev.
