Eleven Butler County wrestlers will be competing in the WPIALClass AAA Championships this weekend at Norwin High School.

Pigtail-round matches begin at 5:30 p.m. today, with preliminary-round action set for 7. The tournament continues Friday and Saturday.

The second session includes quarterfinal and first-round consolation matches and commences at 5:30 p.m. Friday.

The third session begins at 10 a.m. Saturday with second-round consolations and continues with semifinal and third-round consolations at noon and fourth-round consolations at 2:15 p.m.

The final session begins with consolation finals at 6 p.m., the Parade of Champions at 7:20 and championship finals at 7:30.

County participants are Josh Pascazi, Marino Quercio and Alex Evanoff of Butler; Dylan Leslie and Grayson Hixson of Knoch; Grant Evans, Nate Cully, Pat Coyne, Dave Kovach, Ryan Scheller and Zach Eckstrom of Seneca Valley.

Eckstrom is the lone county wrestler to win a section championship this year.

Ticket prices for individual sessions 1, 2 and 3 are $6 for adults, $4 for students. Individual prices for Session 4 are $7 for adults, $4 for students.

All-tournament wristbands are available for $25 today, $19 Friday and $13 Saturday. All tickets must be bought at the door.
