Anderson

Chad Lemoyne Anderson, 74, of Richland Township, formerly of Glenshaw, died Wedn-esday at the Rebecca Residence in West Deer Township.

Born May 23, 1932, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Marvin William and Rhoda Ethel Maharg Anderson.

He was employed at Bell Telephone for more than 39 years.

Mr. Anderson was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, where he sang in the chancel choir and played in the bell choir.

He also was a barbershop singer with SPEBSQSA for years and directed the North Hills Harmony Line Chorus for eight years.

He served in the Army Signal Corps in Germany.

He was the beloved husband of Doris Jane Grissell Anderson, whom he married Sept. 19, 1953; loving father of Lynn D. (William) Ross of Pine Township, Gary D. (Donna) Anderson of Penn Township and Lori A. Wharrey of Mars; and dear brother of William Anderson of Syracuse, N.Y., James (Jeannette) Anderson of Shaler Township and Larry Anderson of Charlotte, N.C.

He was the loving grandfather of Michael, Timothy and Jeremy Ross, Scott and Eric Anderson and James and Emma Wharrey.

<B>Anderson</B> — Friends of Chad Lemoyne Anderson will be received from noon to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at <B>Schellhaas Funeral Home</B>, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown, where the North Hills Harmony Line Chorus will conduct services at 8 p.m.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, Route 8 at Heckert Road, Richland Township, with the Rev. Paul Becker Jr., officiating.
