Sarah Mae Bame, 86, of Jackson Township died Monday at Alleg-heny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born July 12, 1920, in Sewic-kley, she was the daughter of Henry O. and Mae Smith McCormick.

She was a member of Grace Church of Harmony.

Mrs. Bame was a 1942 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where she received a bachelor's degree in chemistry.

She loved gardening, flowers, being outdoors and reading.

Her husband, Frank O. Bame, whom she married April 16, 1947, died Dec. 1, 1996.

She is survived by two sons, John O. and Franklin C. Bame, both of Jackson Township; two daughters, Donna Mae Bame of Jackson Township and Carol Ann Knapp and her husband, David, of Forward Township; and three grandchildren, Jonathan, Benjamin and Sarah Knapp.

<B>BAME</B> — Friends of Sarah Mae Bame, who died Monday, Jan. 22, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at <B>Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation SERVICES</B>, 219 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Peter Everett, her church pastor, officiating.Burial will follow at Grace Church Cemetery, Harmony.Memorial donations may be made to Grace Church of Harmony, 538 Main St., P.O.
