The Blackwood Quartet of Pigeon Forge, Tenn., will perform at 7 p.m. March 1 at Butler Intermediate High School. Doors will open at 6 p.m.

Tickets will be available for $15 at the door or in advance by calling 724-482-2016.

The event is being sponsored by Branchton United Methodist Church.

Showing planned for newly released film

North Main Street Church of God will preview the film "Facing The Giants" at 8 p.m. Friday in the church's main sanctuary.

The event is free and open to the public.

St. Paul Roman Catholic Church on McKean Street will offer a Mass in Spanish at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.Confessions will be heard beginning at 2 p.m.A social time will follow the Mass.Upcoming Masses are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. March 25, April 29 and May 20.

SUGARCREEK TWP, Armstrong County — A concert by Scott Neff is planned for 7 p.m. March 4 at St. Paul's Community Church, located on Route 268 two miles south of Route 68.Neff was named 2006 Top 10 New Artist of the Year by the Christian Country Music Association in Nashville.Donations will benefit the church mission fund.For more information, call 724-445-3834.

GIBSONIA — A one-day seminar for pastors titled "Sexual Wholeness: Ministering Biblically and Compassionately" will be offered from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Bakerstown United Methodist Church.Five concurrent sessions will be offered in the morning and afternoon.Cost is $30 per person or $50 per couple. MARS — "Esther the Musical," a program by Valencia pianist Jeannie Allen, will be performed March 2 through 4 at Mars Alliance Church on Route 228. Show times are 7 p.m. March 2 and 3 and 3 p.m. March 4.The musical is based on the Old Testament Book of Esther and Esther and recounts the deliverance of the Jews from persecution in the Persian Empire.Admission is free, but donations will be accepted.
