Despite 20 points from Shawn Courson, the A-C Valley boys basketball team saw its season come to a close with a 72-52 loss to Johnsonburg in the first round of the District 9 Class A playoffs Wednesday.

Brandon Eiler added 10 points for the Falcons (14-10), while Calvin Grumley had 24 points and Paul Imbrogno added 15 more to lead Johnsonburg's balanced attack.
