3:16 a.m. Monday — Michael Dengler, 20, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on New Castle Road. He was also cited for underage drinking and driving too fast for conditions.

12:20 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Sarah Stevenson, 64, of Slippery Rock crashed down an embankment and overturned along Interstate 79 in Worth Township.5:03 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Eric Hagan, 29, of Harrisville and a sport utility vehicle driven by Kristopher Parks, 25, of Parker collided on Route 268 at Bruin Lanes in Parker Township. Hagan was cited for illegally entering a roadway.1:35 a.m. Saturday — Lance Collier, 46, of Butler faces charges of suspicion of driving under the influence and hit and run after his SUV struck a utility pole along Eagle Mill Road in Connoquenessing Township.Police said Collier and a passenger, Thomas Regrut, 46, of Harmony fled the scene, leaving the vehicle at the crash site. Regrut, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.

6:40 p.m. Monday — A cow crossing a road was struck by a car and killed in the westbound lane of Route 208 near Irishtown Road in Pine Township, Mercer County.Daniel Gilmore, 29, of Clintonville was unable to avoid hitting the cow with his 2006 Chevrolet Malibu, police said. He suffered minor injuries in the crash but refused medical treatment. The car sustained moderate damage.Monday — An unknown burglar between Friday and Monday made off with a cash box containing about $100 and blank prescription pads from a physician's office at the Grove City Medical Center in Pine Township, Mercer County.Monday — Someone used a pellet gun to shoot out four windows at the Lakeview High School in Sandy Lake Township, Mercer County. The vandalism occurred between 5 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Monday. Damage was estimated at $1,000.
